Please help support our efforts to reduce the cost of the IB senior banquet by attending this fundraiser. This is the one “official” fundraiser for the IB senior banquet.

The Annual Spaghetti Dinner for the incoming freshman Class of 2014 will be held
Tuesday, March 23rd from 5:30 pm- 6:30pm in the HHS Cafeteria.

The cost of the dinner is $10.00 per person. The menu is spaghetti (vegetarian or meat sauce), salad, breadsticks and drinks. There will be a bake sale that evening, the proceeds of which will be added to the IB senior banquet fund. Meals will also be available “to go.”

Baked goods are needed for the bake sale that evening. If you are able to donate baked goods, please send them in to the IB Office by the end of the school day on Tuesday, March 23rd. Your contribution is much appreciated.

If you can attend and/or donate baked goods, please fill out and return the form sending home with your child and include your check, if necessary.

All checks should be made out to the HHS IB Alliance, Inc. and submitted to the IB office by THURSDAY, MARCH 11th.

Thank you so much for your support!! Hope to see you there.

HOLD THE DATE !!!

IB Senior Banquet
Wednesday Evening, June 9th 2010
Higgins Hall at St Lawrence Catholic Church

The IB Senior Banquet committees are hard at work for our kids, but we are still in need of additional volunteers.
Most urgently, we need someone with computer, layout skills to help with the memory book. The memory book is a wonderful keepsake for our kids of their four years at Hillsborough and an important fundraiser for the Banquet. Many of you have sent e-mails offering help. Please let me know you would be able to help with this project.

Respectfully Begging,
Ethel Pila, Chair, IB Banquet 2010

January 2010:

To all IB Seniors and their Parents:

The IB Banquet fundraising committee will be holding their next meeting on at Barnes and Noble on North Dale Mabry in Carrollwood. The meeting will start promptly at 7:30 and hopefully be done by 9 at the latest.

In order to ensure a night to remember for our kids, we really need to get going with fund raising. We have several projects in mind that will not require a major time commitment on anyone’s part, especially if you share the responsibilities with a friend or two. You might even have fun!

So….grab a friend or two and join us on Jan 26th at Barnes and Noble. An RSVP would be appreciated; thanks! Ethl@juno.com. If you are not able to attend the meeting, but are interested in helping out, please let me know.

Again, we encourage both students and parents to attend!!

THANK YOU & WELCOME

Class of 2011 is officially entered the “IB years” by taking the oath and receiving IB Pin during the Pinning Ceremony on Sep 22nd. Class of 2010 is preparing for College application and selection. By now, kids are settled down with school routines, studying, Clubs and Sport activities.

As usual, we have a strong participation of parent volunteers. At the IB Alliance General Meeting Oct 6th, 2009, a new Board was elected with several new chairs added for different activities.

We would like to THANK all Parent volunteers last year and WELCOME the new volunteers this year!

IB Alliance members 2009-2010. If any parent have time and want to participate in certain area, please feel free to contact that Chair person. We still need underclassmen parents to help as backup so that you can continue when senior’s parents “graduate”.

Student Directory Information 2009-2010 have been collected and entered into the online Directory. Parents should have the UserIds and Passwords to access the Parent Menu. If you do not have it, please email our Webmaster here. Also please check out your child information online and let us know if there is any correction needed.
