Attention Students!!


The 2010-2011 school year is upon us. Ask yourself a few questions as the summer comes to a close . . .

* Have I completed all my summer requirements?
* Do I have my final EE (c/o '11) ready to turn in?
* Do I have all my CAS documentation for summer hours?
* Do I have everything I need to start 2010-2011 on a positive note?
* How can I get more sun and sleep in more minutes before school starts?

To our incoming class of 2014, I hope you are planning on joining us at the Northdale YMCA for our Freshmen Day on Saturday, August 14, 2010. The fun starts at 9am.

I trust you will enjoy these final weeks of summer vacation.

Sad news: Passing of Mr. Digenova !!


Our very own Mr. Fred Digenova passed away over the weekend while kayaking in Indiana. Dr. Orr and I have spoken with his wife and offered condolences and assistance from the school. She informed us that funeral services are scheduled for Friday in Indiana.
Please keep Mr. Digenova's family in your thoughts and prayers.

Important: Final Transcripts for Seniors


Final transcripts will be sent to colleges on June 17, 2010. Students have already filled out a request (yellow form that they filled out at the IB English paper 1 exam).
If a college choice has changed since then they will need to notify me before June 17. I will also send the college request to IB so that scores will be sent to the colleges in July. There is no charge for either the transcript or the IB reports.

Parents, I enjoyed the four years I have spent with your children. It's been a great journey and I am proud of their accomplishments.

Mrs. Gondek and Mrs. Rizzo will be retiring this summer !!!


It is a great misfortune for us this year to lose not one, but two, of the finest members of the Hillsborough IB family. Both college counselor Carol Gondek and Spanish teacher Kathyrn Rizzo have decided to retire.

Class of 2010: IB Exam Results


Congratulations to each of you for completing such a rigorous course of exams. Now, I hope you will relax and enjoy your Senior Banquet, Graduation, and this summer!
As you know, your IB exam results will be available July 6th. Mr. Jones will distribute your pincodes and candidate numbers at the Senior Banquet. You will need this information to access your results.

Welcome to the Hillsborough High School International Baccalaureate Alliance (HHSIB) Website.

Our objectives are:

Our main contents are: Hillsborough High School has been an IB World School since January 1991. It offers the IB Diploma Program. Dr. William Orr is the Principal and Mr. Anthony Jones is the Assistant Principal for Magnet Curriculum.
